When we are busy, it is easy to forget that our body also needs out attention. The body usually signals us to what it needs and if we don’t respond to it properly it can sometimes shuts down.

Body Signaling: I’m hungry!

Busy people: Not now, I’m busy… we’ll eat later.

Body Signaling: Ahh, I’m tired!

Busy people: Now? It’s 6 p.m… it’s too early, we’ll sleep later.

Body Signaling: I need to go to the bathroom!

Busy people: I can’t… I am in the middle of something very important… will pee later.

When we’re busy and stressed out, taking care of oneself might seem like a chore. However, ignoring signals from our body can result in a completely different type of turmoil. If you find yourself in such distress, here are a list of key points to consider for a faster and consistent healing from a stressed out system.

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY’S SIGNAL. Example, if your body is telling you to get some rest, simply listen to it consistently for the next two weeks. Finish your daily business and family activity in a time frame, take a nap and go to bed early. Respect this need while observing any resulting changes.

EAT ON TIME. Your body will feel at ease and have faith in you if you consistently put it on a scheduled eating habit. This will also help develop a sense of friendship with your body.

HYDRATE OFTEN. Hydration is one of the simplest approach to give the body the oxygen it needs. Oxygen gives us energy, and significantly lowers inflammation and uncomfortable bodily feelings. Extremely light tea is also wonderful if you find it tough to drink plain water all day.

BE KIND. This doesn’t just apply to the kindness you exhibit towards others, it’s equally important to be kind to yourself. It is in your best interest to be kind. This way, you can create a healthy and good relationship with others and your higher self.

TRY FASTING: Periods of fasting into your life can provide much benefits for your body and mind. Fasting allows the digestive system to rest and wash out toxic substances that you may have accumulated in your body over time. Consider intermittent fasting or occasional longer fasts as part of your approach.

Always remind yourself and stay in your power and avoid giving it away to anything or anyone. This keeps your stress levels down, way down and consistently staying in tune with these principles will not only benefit yourself but also others in this world. GOOD LUCK!
